Variety employs 42 full time staff around the country who are supported by over 2,500 volunteers and committees running various events, functions, and outings with children, investigation of appeals applications and more. We have an extraordinarily dedicated volunteer Board of Directors for each individual state and also for Variety Australia nationally. Each office has a small team of hardworking professionals who give so much to Variety and executive staff who bring a vital pool of expertise and skills to the organisation and the special children we support. We also have a strong base of celebrity ambassadors who help raise the profile of Variety and also help when we need celebrity support for campaigns and events. We couldn’t do without them! Our volunteer base is huge, showing how many good people in Australia want to help the needy kids. Whether people can donate their time regularly, or just on one-off occasions each and every one of them is special to us. We are lucky to enjoy collaboration from companies and corporate supporters who help us raise the funds that we need in order to keep doing such great work for kids.
