Like many families throughout the country, Joanne and her family have received the generosity and support of Variety. 

“Little Jo’s spinal injuries affect her breathing muscles and for many years, Jo’s respiratory infections have meant we’ve had to visit the hospital a lot,” says her mother Amanda.

“Although she was always really positive, it was really hard for her to be in and out of hospital so often. Earlier this year Variety was able to help us by buying a ‘cough assist machine’ which means we don’t have to go to hospital as much.  This is amazing – and now Little Jo can go to school with her friends three days a week!”
