John Catarinich

National Deputy Chairman 

John Catarinich was appointed to the National Board as a Director in March 2007.

John’s passion for assisting others started as a volunteer solicitor helping disadvantaged clients make positive changes in their communities and their daily lives at the Redfern Legal Centre in Sydney.

John continues to make personal contributions in transforming the lives of children through the exceptional work of Variety and is proud to contribute to the National Board.
 
John is a seasoned finance and legal professional. John is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and has practiced in corporate, commercial and insurance law. Starting his career in a chartered accounting firm John has since worked in senior finance, legal and strategic advisory roles for several leading blue-chip companies in Australia, United Kingdom and Asia prior to founding his own firm. John is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, CPA Australia and holds degrees in commerce, law and taxation law.
