Workplace or payroll giving is a simple yet powerful way for employees to assist Variety Queensland in delivering services to disadvantaged and disabled children through dollars received via regular payroll donations.
Once established, Workplace Giving provides both Variety Queensland and your organisation with a low cost and low maintenance way to support the children and their families.
By supporting Variety Queensland through Workplace Giving you will help:
• improve the quality of life for children with disabilities and
their families
• find new ways of supporting disadvantaged children
• help children gain freedom and independence
• support disadvantaged and disabled children in achieving
their life goals
This can be done in several ways;
• Specific Bequest; a gift of cash or an asset
• Percentage Share; a percentage of the whole estate
• Residual Bequest; how you want the remainder of your
estate to be dealt with after other gifts have been given
• Life insurance; all or part of your insurance policy can be
gifted to Variety, The Children’s Charity.
To make a bequest, you must first make a Will. A Will ensures that after death, a person’s wishes are protected and efficiently implemented. You can review and update your will at any time. If you are unsure of how to go about making your Will contact your solicitor or the public trustee in your state.
